Obituary

Barry Goldman M.D., 83, beloved husband of Victoria Weisenberg, adored husband of the late Carol Goldman; loving father of Phil (Cynthia Manley) Goldman, Melissa (Jacob Steinfink) Goldman-Steinfink and Penny (Paul) Bach; dear bonus father of Elliot (Clara Orban) Weisenberg, Elizabeth (Scott) DePierro, Matthew (Kathryn) Weisenberg and Margaret (Daniel) Mulvihill; cherished Zaydie of Alex, Isadora, Molly, Joshua, Faye, Leah, Devorah, Ira, Jacob, Emma, Dylan, Cameron, and Jack; much loved great-grandfather of Jonathan; devoted brother of Bernie Goldman, David Lindmeier and the late Paul Goldman; treasured uncle to many nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews. Barry was a proud Vietnam veteran having served in the Navy as Lieutenant Commander. After the military, Barry spent 50 years as a pediatrician helping underserved neighborhoods. His many interests included gardening, woodworking, and the violin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Jeremiah, www.templejeremiah.org or a charity of your choice. Synagogue service Monday, Nov. 14, 10:00 AM at Temple Jeremiah, 937 Happ Road, Northfield. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights.
