Obituary

Barbara Soibel nee Posner, 82, beloved wife of the late Larry; loving mother of Lisa (Stephen) Boxer and Randy (Siobhan) Soibel; cherished Grandma Barbara of Jake, Nikki and Jordaan Boxer and Lucas, Aidan and Simon Soibel; treasured sister, aunt, cousin and friend of many. Barbara was a proud and dedicated educator for over 40 years. She had a passion for dancing and loved going out for dinner. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Barbara was extremely smart, caring, funny and a friend to everyone she met. She had a true Zest for life and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) and the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org). Chapel service Wednesday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
