Obituary

Barbara J. Kasper (nee Shay), age 98, longtime resident of Prospect Heights and Morton Grove. Beloved daughter of the late William and Miriam Shay, beloved wife for 68 years of the late Robert, loving mother of Steven (Sharon Warsaski), Debbie (Mark) Edge and Gordon (Janice Kellman), devoted sister of Vivian (the late Walter) Koehler, adoring grandmother of Ashley Rojas-Edge (Brian), Elyse Edge, Amanda (Rick) Osowski, and Ari Kasper (Kathryn Lomasney) and proud great-grandmother of Brooklyn Osowski, Avi Rojas-Edge and River Rojas-Edge. Alumnus of the University of Illinois and Von Steuben High School. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to a hospice or a charitable organization of your choice. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Thursday, December 21, 2023; 10AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
