Obituary

Barbara Arkush, née Mutchnick, 92. Beloved wife of the late Fred; devoted mother of Carolyn (Brad) Kennedy, Barry (Annette) Arkush, and the late Michele (Barry) Schaff; kvelling grandmother of Blake (Angela) Bernard, Mara (Scott Nielsen) Bernard, Nate (Karina Icay) Arkush, Andrew Reese, Jaime (Nick) Scott, Stuart (Lauren) Schaff, Rachel (Sam) Karp, Rayna (Felix) Shoihat, and Brian (Jamie) Zider; proud great-grandmother of fourteen; caring sister of the late Sherman Mutchnick; dear sister-in-law of Brenda Mutchnick.

Barbara will be deeply missed by many, many longtime friends and their families, who enjoyed her warmth, kindness and sense of humor.

Chapel service Friday, December 22, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park. For information, including a link to view the service, shiva, and to leave condolences, www.shalommemorial.org or (847) 255-3520.
