Arlene Spiro, 86, née Kramer, beloved wife of the late Henry Spiro, happily married for 37 years; loving mother of Ira (Ruth), Howard (Rachel) and Robert (Nori) Spiro; cherished Grandma and Bubbie of Sarah, Charlotte, Jacob, Naomi, Eva, Max and Noah Spiro; dear sister of Roz Wiener; loving aunt of Lisa and David Nisson, Robin and Scott Lobel and the late Phil Wiener. The family would like to convey special thanks to Diana Steward for her wonderful care and dedication. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, www.ilholocaustmuseum.org or the US Holocaust Museum, www.ushmm.org or Yad Vashem The World Holocaust Remembrance Center, www.yadvashem.org.
