Obituary

Annette (Andy) Gettleman, nee Teitelbaum, age 92, passed away on March 17, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Fay Teitelbaum, her brother, Harvey Teitelbaum and her nephew, Steve Teitelbaum.

She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband for almost 71 years, Edgar Gettleman. Andy was the loving and adoring mother of Robert Gettleman and Joel (Missy) Gettleman; cherished and proud grandmother of Hannah (Matt) Druth and Sam Gettleman; dear sister-in-law of Roberta Teitelbaum; dear sister-in-law of Celeste (late Marshall) Becker; and special aunt of Merle Teitelbaum (Larry Ordower) Cowin.

Andy was fiercely proud of being Jewish and supporting Jewish causes. She loved to be on the go early in the morning at the health club and holding court after her workouts. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd, Skokie (at Niles Center Rd). Andy’s service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
