Obituary

Anita Cohen (nee Aizenstein) passed away April 25, 2023, on her 90th birthday. Anita will be remembered for love and devotion to family and friends, and her genuine warmth, joy, and kindness that she shared with all.

Anita was the beloved wife of the late Allan for 66 wonderful years; loving mother of Ila (Tim) Brouder and the late Ira (Debra) Cohen; cherished grandmother of Kevin (Stephanie) Brouder and Bryan Brouder; much loved sister-in-law to Larry & Brenda Cohen, Shirley (the late Solomon) Aizenstein, Francis (the late Joseph) Aizenstein. She was preceded in death by her parents Iser and Jaya Aizenstein, sisters Luba (Johnny) Besterman, Judith (Paul) Ashlevitz, Lois (Bernard) Friedman, and brother Max Aizenstein; she was a treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Anita loved spending afternoons with family and friends, traveling, gardening and wintering in Florida.

The family would like to extend their thanks for the amazing care, Anita received at Deer Park Senior Village, and the caregivers from LifeStyle Options and Journey Care Hospice.
