Amy Sue Chandler, 56, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024.Beloved mother of Sarah (Sadie) Chandler. Treasured daughter of Barbara and the late Alan). Loving sister of Richard (Marlene), Jon (Josephine) and the late Steven Chandler; loving niece of Howard (Laura) Sims and Tobi Chunowitz; treasured aunt of Jamie Chandler, Nicole (John) Sauciuc, Cody (Melissa) Chandler, Samantha (Joey) Maddox, Trevor Chandler, Danielle Chandler; great aunt of Madison Zdeblick and Michael Chandler, Jaxon and Cameron Sauciuc, Rylee and Caleb Maddox; first cousin to Jennifer (Larry) Gordon, Zachary (Stacey) Sims, Jason (Robbin) Sims, Geoffry Chunowitz and Stephen Chunowitz. Amy got her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her master's in social work at the University of Illinois. Proud educator and social worker for 34 years. Memorial Donations in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Wednesday, December 11. 2024; 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
