Alan David Steinberg

Born August 25, 1946 & passed on March 13, 2024.
Graduated from Midwood High School in Brooklyn, NY.
Was a waiter at Herbies International.
Graduated from NYIT (New York Institute of Technology)
Created Imagination Unlimited later changed to Microbyte which were both technology start-ups in the early 1980s, Microbyte created Datafore (one of the first electronic golf software programs).
Worked as the Director of MIS/HRA for the City of New York (1971-2001)
Real Estate Agent in Stony Brook, NY.
Worked in Marketing and Shipping at Gabilla Knishes (2002-2018)


Survived by his son Brian Craig Steinberg, daughter-in-law Sara Jane. (Eastland) Steinberg, and two grandkids Annica and Dean

Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Sadie and sister Jacqueline Marks. Funeral services will be held in West Babylon, NY.
