Adelle Heisler Carman, nee Bass, 97. Loving wife of the late Albert Heisler z"l for 37 years and the late Fred Carman z"l for 32 years; beloved mother of Larry (Karen) Heisler and David (Cheryl) Heisler; proud grandmother of Steven Heisler, Billy Heisler, Benjamin (Elena) Heisler, Andrea (Bill) Dabovich, Andrew (Dr. Hayley Bemel) Heisler, and Dr. Elise (Elie Silow-Carroll) Heisler; adored great-grandmother of Micah Heisler, Ezri Heisler and Elias Dabovich; cherished older sister of the late Debbie Shafran Cooper z"l; treasured step-mother of David Carman, Bruce (Janice) Carman and Mark Carman, and step-grandmother of Grace Carman. Adelle was a dedicated teacher and subsitute teacher in the Chicago Public School system for 25 years. Her life was filled with love and loyalty, culture and charm. Her presence and personality loomed large with a vibrancy that matched her colorful and coordinated outfits. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, www.yivo.org. Chapel service Tuesday, March 3, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W.
