Adeline S. Sims, nee Firestein, age 91, beloved wife for 51 years of the late Lester Sims; loving mother of Jackie Sims, Steven (Barry Mann) Sims, Teri (David) Odzer, and Micky (Joel) Janczak; dear mother-in-law of the late Jeffrey Zander; adored grandmother of Jeremy and Kyle Sims, Adam and Chad Zander, Luke and Max Janczak; devoted daughter of the late Samuel and the late Rose Firestein; cherished sister of Sherry (Diane) Firestein; fond sister-in-law of the late Marilyn (late Lloyd) Levin; special aunt of Kira and Kai Scarangella and Brad (Allison), Marc and Fred (Cindy) Levin; proud “Dog Mom,” along with her daughter Jackie, of Benji. Adeline was our “Beautiful Diamond” she radiated love and support to all of us. Her family was the center of her universe. She will be dearly missed by all. Service Thursday, 10:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Adeline’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
