Obituary

Robert Michael Karp of Highland Park, IL passed away at age 82 on August 16th 2022. Loving son of the late Barney Karp and Anne Karp Director. Beloved husband of Donna (Wenger) Karp. Adoring father of Brigid (Jason) Novak and Jill (Todd) Peskin. Loving brother of Gerald Karp (partner of Judi Hechtman) and Jane (Gerald) Snower. Adored papa of Ava, Falyn, and Jason. Devoted doggie dad to his darling Georgie. Bob grew up in Hyde Park and South Shore and studied at University of Illinois at Chicago campus. He was an accountant by profession and was a Vice President of Finance for a major Chicagoland corporation. He was an avid sports fan and historian, particularly with WWII. He will hold the Chicago Cubs forever in his heart. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Lymphoma Research Foundation, 134 N.
