Obituary

Regina Swicar Herschtal (nee Lipshitz), 96, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on Monday, February 15th, 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Betty S. (Sander) Weissman, Arnold (Nicole) herschtal and Maurice (Fleur) Herschtal; grandchildren, Marc (Jennifer) Sumers, Tracy (Craig) Maurer, Karine Herschtal, Alexandra Herschtal, Jonathan Herschtal, and Melusine Herschtal; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Samantha Maurer, and Cameron and Connor Sumers; and her sister-in-law, Lola Lewin. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Morris Swicar and Jacob Herschtal; her siblings, Emil Lipshitz and Eva Biedak; and her parents, Bleuma and Herschel Lipshitz.

Regina was a survivor, not just of the Holocaust. A strong woman who persevered through much adversity in life.

Funeral services are private. Please omit flowers. Donations in her memory may be sent to Ruth & Norman Rales, Jewish Family Services, 21300 Ruth & Baron Coleman Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33428.
