Obituary

Pearl Edelman, passed away on Friday, May 28th, 2021, at the age of 91. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Epstein, Judy Edelman and Alan (Susan) Edelman; grandchildren, David Epstein (Alma Heckman), Jeremy Epstein (Katie Levy), Daniel Edelman, Jonathan Edelman and great granddaughter, Clara Epstein.

Pearl was a trailblazing graduate of Hunter College in NYC, majoring in mathematics at a time when women were discouraged from technical fields. She went on to become a teacher and principal for kindergarten and first grade children in the NYC public school system for 30 years.
