Obituary

Jerry M. Friedman, age 85, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Glenview and Lincolnshire; beloved husband and best friend for 56 years of Barbara “Bobbye” Friedman, nee Azine; loving father of Brian (Kimberly) Friedman, Dr. Marc (Meleanie) Friedman, and Dr. Adam (fiancée Kristina Chung) Friedman; adored Papa of Chloe, Emily, Samantha, Ava, and Evan; devoted son of the late Herman and the late Sidelle Friedman; cherished brother-in-law of Sheldon (Carolyn) Azine, brother of Cynthia Zimmerman; treasured uncle and friend of many. Jerry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who lived with love and worked tirelessly for his family.  His kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication will forever be in our hearts and never be forgotten. From humble beginnings in South Haven, Michigan to a highly successful entrepreneurial career in sales in Chicago, Jerry built not only a business, but a loving family who will carry on Jerry‘s unrivaled, strength, charisma, and character forever. May his memory be for a blessing.

Service Friday, 2:00 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Jerry’s service will be livestreamed on his webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to Congregation Beth Shalom, 3433 Walters Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062.
