Obituary

Howard Stanley Feffer, age 90, of Highland Park, beloved husband of Noreen Feffer and the late Helene Feffer; loving father of Arnie (Debbie) Feffer and Hope (Jory) Gruenberg; cherished stepfather to Noreen’s children Elyse (Ken) Shane, Pam (Paul) Goldberg and Bradley Spalter; adored grandfather of Jason (Rachel), Jordan (Elizabeth), and Ashley Feffer, Brittany (Drew) Wolfe, Hannah, Sammy, and the late Benjy Gruenberg, Jarid (Jenn) Dietrich, Taryn (Colin) Daker, and Matt (Alyssa) Goldberg; proud great grandfather of Anna, Emilia, Asher, Brody, Kennedy and Lennon; devoted son of the late Arnold and the late Pearl Feffer; dear brother of the late Maxine Nitishin. Howard served honorably in the U.S. Army and Air Force during the Korean Conflict. His family was the center of his universe, he especially loved being a grandfather and great grandfather. Howard was truly loved by all. Graveside service Friday, 12 Noon at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. The service will be livestreamed on Howard’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Brain Tumor Center at Advocate Children’s Hospital, 1675 Dempster St., Park Ridge, IL 60068 or the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
