Gerald "Jerry" Kohn, 89, beloved husband of the late Frima; loving father of Amy (John Bausch) Kohn; cherished little brother of the late Jane (late Bob) Hoffenberg; devoted son of the late Max and Ann; adored uncle of Steven, Lynn, Scott, and Neal; caring great uncle, and great great uncle; dear friend to many. Jerry stayed loyal to the Bears, Cubs, and Bulls in their lean years and basked in the joy of their glory years. He started working in his teens and retired in his eighties. Customer relationships meant everything to him. Chapel service 12:15 PM Monday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
