Gary Alan Gurvey 81, beloved husband of Susan Gurvey, née Klaas, happily married for 58 years; loving father of Laura (Brady) Isaacson and Matthew (Melissa) Gurvey; cherished Papa of Jack, Sam, Grace and Ava Gurvey, Jordan Robinson, Annie, Kate and David Isaacson; preceded in death by his sister Merna (the late Howard) Wechlser; much loved brother in-law of Roberta (Gidon) Lavi; treasured uncle to his nieces and nephew; and dear, dear friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute at Northwestern Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice. Chapel service Monday, May 15, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
