Obituary

Claire Lou Sarubin, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at the age of 93. She is survived by her children Lisa S. (John) Emmerling, Dr. Todd R. (Juliane) Sarubin, and Joshua B. (Bridget R.) Sarubin; by her grandchildren Samuel E. Emmerling, Kori J. (Michael) Attman, Dr. Max Emmerling (Linda Li), Dr. Koby S. (Kelsey) Sarubin, Mikayla J. Sarubin, Dylan R. Sarubin, Leo P. Sarubin, and Calvin L. Sarubin; by her great-grandchildren Lexi B. Attman, Asher J. Attman, and Lake H. Sarubin; and by her nieces Jeanne A. Witt, and Randy A. Steiner.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Dr. Lawrence D. Sarubin, by her sister Ellen R. (Alvin) Aisenberg, and by her parents Tillye and Paul Rosenstock.

Claire was an incredible wife, mother, Bubbie, Great-Bubbie, sister, aunt, great aunt as well as phenomenal Fashion Designer, Chef, Baker, Artist, Friend and person to all who knew her.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, February 21st, 2022 at 2:30pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery - Berrymans Lane. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Maryland Institute College of Art, 1300 W Mt. Royal Ave., Baltimore, MD 21217 or University of Maryland School of Dentistry, 650 W Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
