Caron Mae Knopoff, nee Lasky, beloved wife and best friend of Jack Knopoff; loving mother of Staci and Michael Levy, Elissa and John Pelts; and Rosalyn and Steven Mokhtarian; adored grandma of Abby and Steven Levy, Aaron and Dylan Pelts, and Sloane and Oliver Mokhtarian; devoted daughter of the late Samuel and the late Rosalyn Lasky; cherished daughter-in-law of the late Arthur and the late Berte Knopoff; dear sister of David (Jan) Lasky, Marsha (Allan) Goldstein, Jeffrey (Susan) Lasky, the late Susan F. Lasky, and the late Daniel (Kathleen) Knopoff; treasured aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Caron was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. The matriarch of our family, she touched the lives of everyone she knew. She spent her life teaching and was always imparting words of wisdom. She lived her life as a Woman of Valor. Service Monday, 1:00 p.m. CT at Congregation Beth Shalom, 3433 Walters Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062. The service will be livestreamed on Caron’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
