Marilynn S Wolffe

Obituary

WOLFFE - Marilynn
died peacefully on
Sunday, August 20th,
2023. Born in 1932 in
Niagara Falls, New
York to Jeanette and
Jacob Sherman, she
married her beloved
husband, Louis Nathan Wolffe in 1954.
Marilynn loved Louis, her daughters,
their spouses, her grandchildren, great
grandchildren, and all animals she came
into contact with. A 1954 graduate of
Syracuse University, Marilynn earned a
degree in business at a time when many
women did not. She loved to cook and
entertain in her home, as well as
travelling with Louis on their motorcycle
and exploring the world. Marilynn got
great joy from spending time with all her
family. She is predeceased by her
husband and survived by her 3
daughters, Corey Wolffe-Levine (Bruce
Levine), Jaime Wolffe (Steven Gordon),
and Leslie Wolffe Berkovits (Markus
Berkovits) as well as 8 grandchildren, 3
great grandchildren, 4 grand dogs, and
one grand cat. Marilynn is described by
her family as wise, intelligent,
sophisticated, and incredibly strongwilled,
able to rise to any challenge she
felt worthy. She was fiercely loyal and
devoted to the people she loved. She
was our matriarch; we loved her and will
miss her. May her memory be a
blessing. The funeral will be held at
