Obituary
Dr. Sidney Peskin, age 86; adoring husband of Evelene “Evie”, nee Levy; loving father of Michelle (Michael) Maddox, Alyse (Mark) Stone, and Dr. Kenneth Peskin (Sharon Waring); proud grandfather of Jamie (Erich), Jordan (Nicole), Erica (Nick), Rebecca (Clayton), and Scott; devoted son of the late Jack and the late Pearl Peskin; cherished brother of Barbara (late Michael) Magit; dear brother-in-law of Barbara (Larry) Edelheit; countless friends shared his life and filled it with memories. Sidney was a skilled and highly respected Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon whose career spanned 44 years. He earned his DDS and MS degrees at the University of Illinois. His lifetime achievements included attaining full professorships at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Sidney was a lifetime resident of the Chicagoland area and part time resident of Scottsdale, Arizona. His passions included golfing and a wide range of activities with the men of GEL. He never felt that he mastered the game of golf, but experienced the unimaginable thrill of a hole in one. Sidney will be soulfully missed by all whose lives were touched by him. Service Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove. The service will be livestreamed on Sidney’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
