Obituary

Mark C. Perelman, loving and beloved husband, father, son, nephew, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at home after a long illness. He was cherished by Diane Weil, his wife of 41 years, children Laura (Olivier Asset) and Rebecca, his parents Charlotte and the late Mel, his brother Robert (Mary Lee Barker) and his aunt Bette (the late Phil) Baum. Mark's passion in life was railroads, he led his family in many long-distance train adventures and felt privileged to work for the Rock Island Railroad and Metra. His other passion was social justice. Service Sunday, April 3rd, 12:30 p.m. at Willow Lawn Cemetery, covered shelter, 24090 N. US Hwy 45, Vernon Hills (2 blocks W. of Buffalo Grove Rd.). Interment to immediately follow in the Nature Trails Section at the cemetery. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Under Recent Services, click onto Mark’s photograph and scroll down to Service Details to view his service.
