Maxx Stiefel

Obituary

Frederic “Maxx” Stiefel passed away on February 16th, 2021 - one day after his 30th birthday.

Maxx’s 30th birthday was a special day that will be cherished by his family forever. The day was filled with an abundance of love, laughter, dancing, and not to mention, lots of sushi and his favorite meal - BBQ shrimp from New Orleans.

Maxx was the Vice President General Manager of Maxxsonics USA. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University, he joined the Maxxsonics team as a Financial Operations Manager in 2015. He went on to receive his Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University, Driehaus College of Business in 2017. Maxx returned to the company with a full-time role in the finance and business analytics group. He has instilled a great work ethic at Maxxsonics, while collaborating with crucial team members to ensure the Company’s growth.

Maxx is probably best known for his illuminating smile, that would light up any room. He was a legendary great hugger. If you were a recipient of one of his hugs, you knew those special embraces came from love, warmth, and genuineness. Maxx was always drawn to music, cars, and building Legos, but nothing beat his passion for hockey.

Maxx was the beloved and loving son of Karen and Alden, cherished brother of Lexxie; devoted grandson of Nane and late Poppy Cassano, late Fred and late Bubby Stiefel; dear nephew of Reid and Denise Stiefel, Nikki and Steve Cohen, Anthony and Tina Cassano; adored cousin to their children; and a great and loyal friend to many.
