Obituary

Edward “Eddie” Glanz, age 87, of Northbrook, Eddie meant everything to his family, but also had a special place in the heart of the Northbrook community. As the Founder and Owner of Little Louie’s from 1967 – 1999, he was a Northbrook legend. He was recognized and loved by all. He was the beloved husband and best friend of the late Charlene Glanz; loving father of Sheryl (Dyke) Daugherty, Ellyn (Fred) Kodroff, and Mindy (Lenny) Kaplan; adored Poppy of Lauren (Jason Borzych) Kodroff, Alyssa and Jori Kodroff, Rachel (Dan) Riddle, Rebecca Daugherty, Brett (fiancée Lauren Less) Kaplan and Carly Kaplan; proud great grandfather of Aaron, AJ, Charlie, and soon to be baby boy Borzych; devoted son of the late Hyman and the late Anna Glanz; dear brother of the late Danny Glanz. Eddie served honorably in the United States Army. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his love of an audience. He enjoyed golfing and loved to hate all Chicago sports teams. The service and shiva will be private. The service will be livestreamed Sunday, 1:00 p.m. CST at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
