Willard I. “ Bill” Werner, age 86, of Chicago, Founder of First Metropolitan Builders and proud member of the Great Vest Side Club; beloved husband of Barbara, nee Geltner; loving father of Steve (Jill) Werner, Pam (late David) Danzig, Kevin (Nicole) Werner, Kristy Facchini, and Leslee (Alex) Lavin; adored Papa Willie of Allie, Dylan (Chelsea), Brett, Adam, Noah, Anthony, Violet, Stella, and Dara; proud great grandfather of Jaxon; devoted son of the late Ruben “Ruby” and the late Eleanor Werner; cherished brother of Helene (late Larry) Seidell and Dr. Phillip (Barbara) Werner; dear brother-in-law of Howard (Bunny) Geltner and Candi (Mark) Nathan; treasured uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Graveside service Monday, 1:00 p.m. CT at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
