Obituary

Tema Bauer nee Posalska, age 105; beloved wife of the late Morris; loving mother of Dr. Jerry (Adrienne) and the late Michael Bauer (Roger Simon); adoring Mama Tema of grandchildren Michelle (Stuart) Primack, Dr. Hillary Bauer-Cohen (Jeffrey Cohen) and Aaron (Lauren) Bauer and great-grandchildren Maya and Mason Primack, Sasha, Jonah and Joshua Cohen, Olivia and Miles Bauer. Our family is grateful to her caregivers Freja and Elsa for the love and care they provided for many years. Both Tema and Morris were sole survivors of their families after the Holocaust. Her wisdom, courage, and inner strength were the remarkable qualities of her extraordinary life. Chapel service Friday, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center-Bauer Family Fund.
