Sylvia Rosett nee Kaplan, 90, passed away early on the morning of June 3, as the love of her life and husband of 69 years, Marvin, stood by her side. Matriarch to blood relatives and extended family alike. Loving mother of Bonnie (Richard) Meltzer and Dr. Phillip (Marilyn) Rosett. Proud grandma of Ari (Abbey) Meltzer, Cheryl (David) Ginsburg, Dr. Brian Rosett, Sara (Ross) Berman and Scott (Tracey) Rosett. Cherished Great grandma of Shaina, Evan, Mason, Griffin, Cole and Elle. Dear sister of Nory Kominsky and Michael (Harriet) Kaplan. An energetic and successful businesswoman who ran a Chicago area clothing business for over 70 years. Enthusiastic traveler and tireless volunteer for multiple charities and synagogues. Service Tuesday 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road) Skokie.
