Obituary

Sonia Schindler (nee Raynor), of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the age of 84. She is survived by her beloved husband, Philip Stanley Schindler; children, Randi (John) Buergenthal, and Joel (Janet) Schindler; sister Rita (Dr. Jerald) Malin, brother Bernard Raynor; grandchildren, Eliza Jayne Buergenthal, Chloe Madeline Buergenthal, Joshua Philip (Debra) Schindler, Lindsey Allison Schindler, and Hayden Scott Schindler, great grandson Isaac Shane Schindler, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister in law, Bernice Raynor; and parents, Jack and Pearl Raynor.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD, 21208, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm . Interment Hebrew Young Men's Cemetery, Baltimore, MD. Only guests that are fully vaccinated should plan to attend the funeral service or in-person Shiva. Livestreaming of the funeral service is available on Levinson's website for those unable to attend. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore (JCC), 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave, Owings Mills, MD 21117, or Beth Israel Congregation, 3706 Crondall Ln, Owings Mills, MD 21117. The family will be in mourning at 1 Bellchase Court, Pikesville, MD, 21208 Tuesday immediately following the interment and Wednesday beginning at 10 am.
