Obituary

Simone Goodman (nee Gold) wife of the late Barry Goodman of Highland Park, IL passed away peacefully due to heart surgery complications on May 31, 2022 in Bethesda, MD surrounded by her children. Simone was born May 20, 1940 to Celia and Albert Gold. Simone was a kindhearted lover of life and a laugher extraordinaire. She adored art, books, poetry, music, Paris, and taking photos of her children, grandchildren, birds and trees. Simone is survived by her sister Helene, her children, David, Matthew and Nina, their spouses Art, Emma and Gideon, and her grandchildren Micah, Julian, Sadie and Dylan. A service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, Friday June 3rd at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
