Obituary

Sara Cohn, nee Hurwitz, age 66, passed away on October 2, at home surrounded by family after a valiant 6 ½ year battle with cancer. Loving wife of Stanley. Cherished mother of Rachel (Andrew Ash) Cohn and Jacob Cohn. Proud grandmother of Aryeh. Dear sister of Judith (Andrew) Winston and Michael (Beverly) Hurwitz. Fond aunt, great aunt, and cousin of many. Great lover of pets, especially dogs. Sara was a woman of incredible kindness and caring to all she met and was a dedicated School Psychologist with an innate ability to connect with children of all ages. One of her greatest joys was making everyone and anyone feel welcome in her home. She was adored by all who knew her. Service Tuesday, 10 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Shalom Memorial Park to follow.
