Obituary

Samuel Brian Gradman, Age 19, passed away in an automobile accident on Friday. Beloved son of Ken and the late Audrey Gradman. Loving brother of Joshua and Emma. Cherished grandson of Myrna (the late Stanford) Gradman and Eileen and Eugene Berkowitz. Treasured nephew of Ellen Gradman, Debbie (Tom) Schapira, David (Andrea) Berkowitz and Michael Berkowitz. Dear cousin of Ally, Adam, Dylan, Skylar, and Sabrina. Beloved cousin of Dollie, Roberta (James), Samantha, Adam (Amanda), and Mitch Jacobson. Sam attended the Cove School before graduating from Glenbrook North. As a counselor at Apachi Day Camp, he found working with kids to be his true passion, leading him to attend Kirkwood Community College with plans to transfer to Illinois State University where he was accepted into the School of Education. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His unique charm and special spark would light up a room and instantly attract people to him.
