Ruth S. Harris, 64; loving mother of her "lovely boy" Alex and her "wonderful boy" Jacob; devoted and treasured wife for 26 years of Mark; cherished sister of Joan (Michael) and Sarah (Joe); beloved daughter of Jean and the late Herbert; dear sister-in-law of Ben (Susan) and Paula; caring aunt of Aliza, Audrey (Andrew), Elaine, Ethan, Isabel, Rachel, Rebecca, and Zach. Ruth is loved by her many friends and will be dearly missed. "Her mouth opens with wisdom, her words guide with loving-kindness." (Proverbs 31:26). Chapel service today, Wednesday, at 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
