Obituary

Rose Fishman, nee Tepper, 94, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away August 10, 2018, beloved wife of the late Leonard Fishman; loving mother of Sheldon Fishman and Corey (Patty) Fishman; cherished grandmother of Amy Fishman, Kimberly (Joshua) Fouke, Kelly (Michael) Westwood, Emily Fishman, and Ryan Fishman; adored great grandmother of Sam Fouke; devoted daughter of the late Morris Tepper and Bella Feinglass; treasured sister of the late Frances (Sam) Cohen, Sam (Grace) Tepper, and the late Marian (Marvin) Hoffman. "Auntie Rosie" was dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews. Rose and Leonard met in Chicago, Illinois, and raised their family in Skokie. After working many years as a medical technician in the office of A.M. Serby, MD, Rose worked at the Jewish Community Center. She retired to Florida and spent her time playing Bingo, Mahjong, and cards. Rose loved to knit and crafted lovely blankets, sweaters, and baby booties for her family and friends. Her gefilte fish and mandel bread were legendary. And even though she lived in Florida, Rose remained a steadfast Cub fan. Graveside service 11 AM Tuesday August 14th at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W.
