Obituary

Robert "Bob" Berliner, 98, adored son of the late Ida (née Annenberg) and the late Emanuel Berliner; beloved husband of Lois Berliner (née Fierer) happily married for 56 years; loving father of Julie (Ray) Goga, Jay Berliner, Robin Butchin, Kevin Butchin and Kelly (David) Weiner; cherished grandfather of Erin (Steve) Chaney, Ryan Goga, Joel (Sarah) Goga, Tyler Butchin, Rebecca Weiner and Bradley Weiner; much loved great-grandfather of Cameila, Jaidyn, Asher and Drake; preceded in death by his dear sister Lois Yagoda; treasured uncle to several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tom Winters for his care and dedication. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Illinois AMVETS, www.ilamvets.org. Chapel service Monday, Jan 16, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
