Obituary

Philip Stone, 101, formerly of Lincolnwood, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2022. Beloved husband for 59 years to the late Sylvia nee Rosenbaum; loving father of Susan Stone (Jay Levy), Nancy Stone (Michael Gore), Dr. Larry Stone, and the late Janis Stone; adored and adoring grandfather of Jessica Levy (Jeff Constien), Adam Levy (Rachel) and Ethan Akerman; cherished great grandfather of Hannah Sylvie, Sydney Rose, and Asher Philip. He was the devoted son of immigrants, the late Morris and Fannie Stone; caring brother to the late Joseph and Sol Stone; beloved uncle to very special nieces and nephews. Gregarious, interested, and steadfast friend to many. Great appreciation goes to his dedicated caregiver of many years Benjie, and his kind caregiver Rico. Chapel service Wednesday, April 27 at 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
