Pearl Cohen, nee Sherman, a remarkable 101 years, of Northbrook, formerly of Skokie, beloved wife for 63 years of the late Jacob Cohen; loving mother of Linda (Peter Vigushin) Iser; adored grandma of Amy (Michael) Alexander and Julie (Jeffrey Schneider) Iser-Schneider; proud great grandma of Caleb and Olivia; devoted daughter of the late Alex and late Leah Sherman; cherished sister of the late Sylvia (late Harry) Sherman, late Hyman (late Faye) Sherman, and the late Ruth (late Dave) Smith; treasured aunt, great aunt and friend to many. Pearl’s family was the center of her universe, she loved being a wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. She embraced her faith and the traditions associated with being Jewish. Pearl wrote beautiful poetry, baked delicious mandel bread, and was an avid mah jongg player and reader. Service Monday, 2:00 p.m. CST at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
