Paula "Pnina" nee Schwartzbart age 97.
Beloved wife of the late Willie W. Wind; loving mother "Ima" of Gail (Irwin) Schneiderman; proud grandmother of Steven (Dr. Nicole) Schneiderman; Dr. Laura (Dr. Benjamin Friedman) Schneiderman; adored great grandmother "Savta Pnina" of Hannah and Leah Schneiderman, Sarah, Jacob and Avi Friedman, Drew, Camryn and Colin Browne. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. The family thanks Galyna and Cecylia for their devoted care. Paula was born in Beuthen, Germany daughter of the late Hella and Wolf Schwartzbart and dear sister of the late Lani, Gusti, Anni, Marie, Ruth and Fanny. She escaped Nazi Germany and immigrated to Israel in 1938. Her parents and five of her sisters perished in the Holocaust.
Service. Tuesday 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie.
