Obituary

Patricia Hefter, sister of Barbara (Harvey) Olsher; aunt of Gail Weissman and Marci Horowitz; great-aunt of Danny and Noah Horowitz; daughter of the late Irving and Shirley Hefter. Pat was a teacher and computer consultant for the Skokie/Morton Grove School District 69 for her entire career. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, and a master's degree in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Reading Disabilities from Northeastern Illinois University. She was also a graduate of New Trier Township High School. Pat was an avid golfer, tennis player, music lover, and diehard Cubs fan. She made an impact on so many students, many of whom she stayed connected with. Graveside service 1PM, Monday, November 14, 2022, at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
