Dr. Mitchel J. Sweig, 79, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2019 in Evanston, IL. He was born on October 16, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Albert and Eve (nee Jasper). Dr. Sweig is survived by his second wife Linda (nee Silver) and his daughters Kim and Rachel, and predeceased by his brother Stephen and their parents, Albert and Eve (nee Jasper). Services, Friday, 2PM at Waldheim Cemetery, 17th & Harlem, Forest Park. Memorial donations may be made in Dr. Sweig’s name to the University of Chicago Alumni Association at giving.uchicago.edu.
