Marvin “Marv” Sumner, age 95, of Buffalo Grove, beloved husband and high school sweetheart of the late Edie Sumner, nee Horwitz; loving father of Ellyn and Terry Benovsky and Andrea (Stuart) Rappoport; grandfather of Bradley (Rhiannon) Rappoport and Staci (Eric) Hauk; great grandfather of Logan, Zachary, Sawyer, and Garrett; devoted son of the late Sam and the late Lillian Sumner; dear brother of the late Sherwin (late Sandra) Sumner; fond brother-in-law of the late Elenore (late Ruby) Kaufman; treasured uncle, great uncle, and friend to many. Marv was blessed with his “guardian angel” caregiver and now family member Natalya and will also be missed by his special fur buddy Makkie. Service Thursday, 12 Noon CDT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery. The service will be Zoomed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
