Obituary

Marvin Davidson, 97, of Linwood peacefully passed away on Sunday June 19th, 2022. Marvin was predeceased by his parents. Harry and Rose Davidson, his loving wife of 71 years, Bette, son, Jerry, brothers, Sam, Bill and Danny, and sister, Charlotte Selkow Berger.

After graduating high school, Marvin enlisted in the military. He was a proud veteran of World War II, where he served in the Navy on an LST. After the war ended, he returned here to work in the family plumbing business, Harry Davidson, Inc.

Marvin was very involved in the community. He was a member of Beth El, a past president of Avoda, a Mason, founding member of Atlantic National Bank, board member of the JCC and SJ Mechanical Contractors Association.

Marvin loved working, fishing, and sharing life stories. His greatest love was his family. To know him was to love him. He is survived by his loving family; children, Herman (Lynn) and Ilene Lippman (Barry), grandchildren, Keith (Kerry), Corin, Danielle (Mike), Courtney (Mike), Heather (Rich), Andrew (Ellie), Caitlin (Tyler) and Julie, great-grandchildren, Skyler, Piper, Nate, Connor, Grant, Dylan, Colby and Siena. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, friends and caretakers, Pat and Emile.

Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
