Obituary

Marshall Kenneth Hechter, beloved husband of Joan for 55 wonderful years; loving father of Elissa (Craig) Goldsmith, David (Tessa) Hechter, Michael (Rachel) Hechter; cherished Poppa of Lauren and Lucy Goldsmith, Cade and Tayla Hechter, and Isaac and Miles Hechter; dear brother of the late Raymond (the late Roselle) Hechter; treasured friend of many. Marshall was an alumnus of Penn Elementary School, Austin High School (Class of 1956), Illinois Institute of Technology (Class of 1962), earned his MBA-Finance at University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (Class of 1969), and earned a Master of Arts in Secondary Education programs at National-Louis University (June 2003). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stand With Us, standwithus.com. Chapel service, Tuesday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
