Obituary

Mark Spencer Weiss, 68.

Of Los Angeles (originally Chicago), passed away peacefully after a long and valiant battle with a degenerative neuromuscular condition. Beloved son of the late Fred and Bettye Weiss; loving devoted brother of Elly Weiss (Walter Hansel) and Roger (Nancy) Weiss; cherished uncle of Zack and Justin Weiss; wonderful cousin and friend to many, including honorary brothers Jeff Wheat and Steve Snow; and was a loyal lifetime Cubs fan. He was treasured, loved, and admired by all who knew him.

Graveside Service. Thursday Nov 16, 11 AM, at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W Rand Rd (Sec. VIII Nebo), Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the The Motion Picture & Television Fund (where Mark was so ideally cared for and loved by his angelic palliative care team and caretakers), Muscular Dystrophy Association, CureSMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), and American Heart Association.
