Obituary

Malcolm B. Gordon, age 87, beloved husband and best friend of Linda B Gordon for 54 years; devoted father of Dr. Jeffrey (Stephanie) Gordon and Pamela (Gregg) Hollander, proud and loving Papa of Eric, Andrew, and Alexander Gordon, Joshua and Samuel Hollander; cherished brother-in-law to Valerie Gordon and brother of the late Stuart Gordon; dearest brother-in-law to the late Jerome and Annette Brezner. Loving uncle, cousin and friend of many. Originally from New York and longtime Highland Park resident. Mal spent his career in media/advertising in New York and Chicago. He and Linda spent their retirement years in Boynton Beach, Florida. He most recently returned to the Chicago area to be with family. Donations in his memory can be made to the Jewish United Fund (juf.org) or to the High School District 113 Foundation (district113foundation.org). Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 12 PM at Shalom Memorial Park 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
