Obituary

Lucy Orbach, nee Reich, 101, Holocaust Survivor, beloved wife of the late Henry; devoted daughter of the late Bayla and the late Chaim; dear sister of Mark (late Sally) Reich and the late Esther, late Robert (Sonia), late Jack (late Lydia), late Miriam, late Golda and late Franya; treasured aunt of: Jeanie (Don), Betty (Cliff), Fay, Joe (Kim), Belle (Ron), Harvey (Lori), Cindy (late Lee) and their families; adored cousin of the late Jack (late Lilian), David, Tammy (Garry) and Miriam.

In addition to being the family matriarch, an astute business woman, world traveler and mentor, Lucy was a Schindler's list Holocaust Survivor and played an instrumental role in Schindler's life post WWII. She lived an incredible life and called Japan, Belgium, Germany, New York, and Chicago her home at various times throughout her life. Lucy had an immediate and lasting impression on everyone she met.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. Private graveside service. Please attend via livestream, Thursday 12 Noon CST.
