Obituary

Lloyd M. Blumenthal, 94, January 9, 2022; beloved husband and best friend of the late Barbara née Kramer for 45 years; loving father of Bonnie (Michael) Besly and Nancy Blumenthal; cherished grandfather of Hannah Besly. Faithful companion of Sylvia Gutterman. Lloyd graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 1949. After college, Lloyd returned to Indiana Harbor where he was a successful retail business owner of Mirovich Clothing for over 50 years along with leased shoe departments in many local area stores. Lloyd enjoyed golf, dining out, traveling to visit his granddaughter and followed the stock market religiously. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society (www.donate3.cancer.org ) in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
