Obituary

Leslie S. Peck, nee Seider, 61 of Long Grove, IL on July 15, 2021. Beloved wife of Steven for over 37 wonderful years. Loving mother of Michelle Peck and Jason Kamuda, Melissa and Calvin Cohen, and Marlee and Zach Kovar. Cherished grandmother (Gigi) of James and Libby. Dear sister, cousin, and aunt. Wonderful friend to many who became family.

Leslie has worn many hats throughout her life. After graduating from Wharton, Leslie went from working on Wall Street to co-founding a real estate development company. Moving to Illinois, Leslie went from being a stay at home mom to assisting in regulatory accounting. All throughout, she loved planning events with the sisterhood at Congregation Beth Judea and leading the design for all her children's life events. At the end of the day, Leslie's favorite hat to wear was always being a mother and grandmother. She lived for her family and as she always said, they will be her greatest legacy. Leslie will be remembered for her creativity, strength, compassion, and wittiness and will live on in her children and grandchildren. Leslie fought tremendously during her year-long battle with cancer and the Peck family thanks all of her doctors, nurses, caregivers, and hospice professionals for the kindness and care they provided her. The Peck family cannot thank enough their loving community who has helped them through such a challenging year. Leslie will forever be in our hearts and memories.
