Obituary

Leslie M. Fishman, Age 93,of Sarasota, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Leah, his older brother Glen and his first wife Naomi, nee Don. Survived by his beloved wife Lois, nee Corder for 33 1/2 years he was a loving father in a blended family of 9 children, adored "Papa Les" of 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and a much loved brother of Ted (Diane). Former President, CEO, and Vice Chairman of Edward Don and Company. Les was very involved in many organizations where he was either a board member, trustee, officer or the president. Les' legacy continues thru his family, longstanding generosity and leadership within many organizations and communities in both Sarasota and Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Mt Sinai Health Systems (www.sinaichicago.org/giving/donate), Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee (www.jfedsrq.org) or InStride Therapy Inc. (www.instridetherapy.org). Chapel Service, Friday, January 7, 2022, 12 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
