Obituary

Leo Pearl, the ultimate fighter and survivor, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.  Born in Toronto, Canada in 1928, Leo was the cherished son of Sadie and Jack Pearl.  He was the loving husband and soulmate for 73 1/2 years of Lois Pearl.  Beloved father of Jerald (Mary) and Debra Pearl. Adoring grandfather of Jonathan (Timmie) Mitten, Jedidiah Mitten, Dawn (William) Reichley, Chelsea (Kevin) Hall, Heather (Allen) Hoyos, Michelle (Deni) Heintzelman and Sharrie Pearl.  Devoted great-grandfather to Sabrina, Ava, Chloe, Sterling, Emeri, Liam, Kinsley, Lincoln and Tristan.  Fond sister of Cecile (Joe) Goldenberg.  Leo was the treasured and caring uncle, cousin and friend of many, and will remain in our hearts forever.  Thank you to all the wonderful and caring doctors and nurses.  Graveside service at 12 Noon CT on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge, IL (Section B). The service will be livestreamed on Leo’s page at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
